Barcelona to Host Inaugural Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend
Barcelona have announced they will play at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in La Liga 30 months after they moved out for construction to commence.
“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Attendance will be limited with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. When completed, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Barça announced recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.
Stadium Testing
The club conducted a public practice inside the stadium on 7 November. They mentioned they are seeking authorization from Uefa to host the next European match facing Eintracht next month at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
