Attendees will become proficient in tying in, safety techniques and a range of climbing techniques, plus abseiling down. The course is suitable for all individuals over the age of 13 and over, from first-time climbers to those with some indoor experience. Non-Representational Art in Spain
This historic hillside village, a picturesque hillside village in southern Spain, approximately a short drive from Granada, is the stimulating setting for this painting holiday. Artists of all abilities – even beginners – will discover how to design and produce abstract artworks. A portion of the time will be spent outdoors, working on tutorials in the open. These sketches and watercolour studies will then be developed in the studio, with guests producing multiple abstract landscapes in acrylics to be exhibited in the local community. The group has exclusive access of the hotel, which is built around an central patio and has a roof terrace with panoramic vistas over the countryside. Ottolenghi-Inspired Culinary in Portugal
This sun-drenched foodie getaway, set on a riverside villa in the central Portuguese region, is inspired by the vegetarian dishes of celebrated cooks. Participants will learn to produce selection of small dishes, attend a hands-on falafel session, perfect brunch dishes such as shakshuka, and make substantial main courses such as spicy mushroom ragu and moussaka. There are trips to the village market and a nearby winery to taste Portuguese wines, along with free time for strolls by the nearby river, to relax on the terrace or take a dip in the infinity pool. Hip Hop in Buckinghamshire
This energetic camp is an uplifting, inclusive weekend adults’ street dance camp in High Wycombe. The daily schedule each day is a high-energy group warmup, followed by three 90-minute workshops teaching various street dance styles, then an 60-minute freestyle session to show off those solos. Dancers are divided into levels based on ability and experience, so it is perfect for those who are completely new to popping and locking, all the way to advanced dancers or instructors. The camp does not provide lodging but there are several places to stay nearby, and it is 23-35 minutes by train into central London.

Sea Shanty Break in St Ives
St Ives is the perfect setting for a maritime music retreat. Participants will learn historic sailing songs from a folk singer and vocal coach, and try their hand at composing original ones. The schedule includes voice exercises, breathing exercises, performance tips and a closing performance. The retreat is based at a rural hotel with views of St Ives Bay. All meals are provided, including a Cornish cream tea on arrival, cooked or continental breakfasts, lunches to go and three-course dinners. Traditional rum, alas, is not included. He covers everything from story structure, characters, setting and tension, to sending manuscripts to agents.
