This young athlete maintains considerable online audience

The young golfer will have numerous well-known cheerleaders as she starts her LPGA debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses numerous golf courses and often plays against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially suggested to compete and enjoy myself," she explained.

"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has participated in just three tournaments recently and maintains position 461 in AJGA standings.

Yet she can receive tips from Tiger Woods, who is dating Vanessa.

"He stands as the top athlete in the world," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to go out there, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."

She'll challenge multiple most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, such as world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials commented that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to wider groups, specifically among youth audiences.

Kai boasts substantial online presence and recently launched a personal apparel and wellness brand.

The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
